This definitely makes curls. However, the material causes frizz and the flat part in the middle that connects the tubes is too long.The quality of this product is super! Came with two curling rods, four scrunchies, four clips, and and an adorable bag. All work great! The scrunchies are even cute just to wear around. Love the feel of the fabric. The bag is really handy to keep things all together. The rods are very long leaving plenty of room for long hair.I had it in the minimum time and just took the hair dryer to it for 10 seconds and I thought it came out great. My hair is normally very frizzy and this fixed it.Yes they curl but they don’t really stay in well. I thought having the top flat would be better but it’s not caused an uneven curl.Tried it many ways different days does not wave your hairI have always been hesitant to take time to curl my hair, or even do much with my hair. I don't like heat and don't have the time. This product has been amazing and comfortable to use. It gives my hair (very long and down my back) very large waves or curls without a long process. It is very easy to use! It is also very durable and a well-made product.The flat part is too long so it makes the top of the head look weird,the curls would have come out better if they top part (the middle on the actual curlers) was shorterI had high hopes for this item as I have naturally wavy hair. I was hoping that I could shower and then put it in and go to sleep with it in. It was kinda uncomfortable to sleep in at first, but after adjusting it a bit farther back, I got used to it and it didn’t bother me. My husband thought it was hilarious though. I found that it didn’t really work unless my hair was just damp (which it says in the instructions). Worked better the second time around when I showered and then used the hair dryer for a few minutes first. It gave me decent waves. I still needed to touch them up with the curling iron in the morning for a more polished look, but for the price, these work well. Came with 2 sets and the carrying case.
